Gunderson Funeral Chapel | | | | | Services: 1:30 p.m. on Friday, February 26, at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel | | Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 25. | | Obituary: Francine is survived by her children, Jennifer (Terrence) Lynn, Autumn (Randall) Armstrong, Garret (Jenny) Armstrong, Theresa Armstrong and Molly (Joseph) Edwards; her grandchildren, Maggie Armstrong, Jaden Loveless, Opal Edwards and Tempest Armstrong; her mother Mildred Samuelson Armstrong; her siblings, Carol (Jack) Summers, Cheryl (Richard) Gnade, William (Kathy) Armstrong, Robert Armstrong and Bruce (Rose) Armstrong. She was preceded in death by her father Harold Armstrong, nephew Kevin Defoe and beloved baby Christopher.
Francine was a member of the Fort Dodge Seventh Day Adventist Church and she loved the Lord dearly. Up until she passed away, Francine worked at Village Inn. In her spare time, “Granny Franny” enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, reading and spending time with the ones she loved; most importantly her grandchildren. Francine was known for her many home improvement projects. She will be dearly missed by all.
