Clarence was born to Frank and Margaret Deserly on April 15, 1938. When Clarence left the family ranch, he joined the Army. When he was honorably discharged, he traveled many places exploring the world. On his many ventures he met the love of his life, Lois Heller-Fawcet of Iowa. On October 23, 2004 they were married and made their home in Renwick, IA. To this marriage Clarence gained four step-children. Clarence in his early years enjoyed trapping and hunting, had a love for horses, and riding with his nieces and nephews in the hills around the ranch. He also enjoyed ranching and farming. In his later years he had a love for buying and selling antiques and had owned his own antique store in Ross, ND. When he moved to Iowa he continued to buy and sell antiques and enjoyed visiting with friends at Sparky’s Auctions. Clarences greatest accomplishment was becoming an orderly working in nursing homes in Stanley and New Town, ND. Clarence was very proud of being an orderly and shared this with everyone. Clarence was a loving and thoughtful man. He enjoyed helping whomever he could. Clarence loved getting out his guitar many times, strumming a tune and singing with his nephews, Andy and Ron Walters; step-son, Charles Heller; and with his niece, Collette Sorenson on her violin. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Maragaret Deserly; brothers, Edward, Russell, and Vernon Deserly; sisters, Blanche Galusha, Alma Kroll, Victoria Moore, Dorothy Weiss, and baby sister Grace Deserly. Clarence is survived by his wife, Lois; four step-children, Charlene (James) Baker of Fort Worth, TX, David (Robin) Heller of Tulsa, OK, Mary Jo (Teddy) Grim of Goldfield, IA, and Charles (Patty LaSourd) Heller of Fort Dodge, IA; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Always Loved, Never Forgotten & Forever Missed.
