Dorothy Janice Gunderson, the daughter of Rob & Kelcie Gunderson, was stillborn Friday, January 21, 2022, at UnityPoint Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 28, 2022, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Monsignor Kevin McCoy officiating. Interment will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery in Fort Dodge. Visitation will be held from 9:30 – 10:30 prior to the service at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted with Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Dorothy is survived by her parents Rob & Kelcie Gunderson; siblings Henry, Lainey and Leland; grandparents Phil & Keely Gunderson of Fort Dodge and Keith & Becky Green of Twin Lakes, IA; uncle Brenan (Tiffany) Green of Knierim, IA; aunt Kaylea Green of Fort Dodge; cousin Bronson Green; Great grandparents Gayle (Dale) DeFor of Burnsville, MN and many other extended family. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents Jack & Dorothy (Pat) Ertl, Robert C. Gunderson, Lowell & Janice Green and Gene & Iola Fowler. Memorials may be left to Holy Trinity Parish or the Trinity Regional Medical Center Foundation.
