Pigsley. After their marriage the couple made their home in Des Moines, Iowa. They later moved to Omaha then later to Florida. The couple divorced after 13 years of marriage. On June 22, 2004, Dorothy married Dean McCallum in Las Vegas. After their marriage the couple lived in Fort Dodge and spent their winters in McAllen, TX. Dorothy enjoyed volunteering at her church working in the nursery or as a greeter and attending weekly women’s Bible study. She loved to sew making anything from clothes to curtains. Dorothy loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She referred to them as “her boy’s”. She was a faithful supporter from their sporting events to piano recitals, and church programs to name a few. She loved having them over camping on the living room floor for a movie marathon weekend, her joy was her family. She loved to cook and was always asked to make her fried chicken with mash potatoes and gravy for family gatherings. Her brownies were a hit with her brother. Her husband died this past December, they are once together again. She was truly loved by all and will be missed.
