Mark Eugene Hubby

Mark Eugene Hubby, age 71 of Otho, Iowa passed away on January 5, 2022, at the UnityPoint Health-Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge Iowa. Mark was born July 20,1951 in Dexter, Iowa. He was the first-born son of Bernard & Darlene (Cave)Hubby of Redfield, Iowa. He grew up in Redfield, Iowa and attended Dexfield High School. After High School he was Drafted into the United States Army. In 1973 he married Anita Houp, they later divorced. Mark remarried 2 more times to Brenda Pierce and Charlotte Witt. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time on his boat at Brushy Creek. When not fishing he enjoyed shooting pool, working in his garden, and watching the Iowa Hawkeyes. Mark is survived by his 4 children Heather (Kevin) Jordan, Chanel Hubby (Larry) • Michael Hubby, & Patrick Hubby (Shannon) • 5 Brothers and 2 Sisters • 5 Grandchildren: Raven, Michaela, Michael, Joshua & William. 9 Great Grandchildren and his friend Becky Jensen • He is proceeded in death by his parents Bernard & Darlene, brother Terry, sister Sue and his ex-wives Anita & Charlotte. His family is Thankful that he was a Donor and able to give a gift to many others that may be lifesaving. Per his wishes he was cremated and there will only be a private grave-side service in the spring and interment will be at Morrisburg Cemetery, Guthrie County, Iowa.
