Michael Lloyd Hager

Michael (Mike) Lloyd Hager, 68, of Spirit Lake, IA passed away Monday May 2, 2022, in Missouri while on a trip. He passed after losing his battle to cancer. Mike was born on May 22,1953 in Fort Dodge to Eugene and Geraldine Hager. He graduated from Fort Dodge High School in 1971. Mike retired from Hy-Vee at the age of 55, he then started Hager Lawn Services where he did snow removal and lawn care. Mike is survived by his son, Jon Hager (Nicole and Caden Woods). Grandkids, Karli Hager (Trey McKenzie) Gage Hager and Calisyn Hager. Daughter, Courtney Friest and family. And close friend Connie Hutchinson. Mike enjoyed traveling to various places one of his favorites being Canada, where he spent much time fishing with friends. He also enjoyed golfing with friends and family. He loved his business and enjoyed all the people he mowed for. Mike enjoyed taking his dogs, Kinley and Kipley for walks and along with him to the golf course. Mike is proceeded in depth by both parents, Eugene and Geraldine (McGinnis) Hager. And His brother Douglas Hager.
