Rae Ann Jordison Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Rae Ann Jordison, 72, of Badger, went home to Jesus on Wednesday, November 27, 2019. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 30, at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel. Visitation is 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at Gunderson’s. Memorials may be directed to the discretion of the family. Rae Ann was born June 28, 1947 to Paul and Laura (Ramthun) Wisthoff in Rockwell City and she grew up in Jolley, Iowa. She was united in marriage to David Knudson in 1964, and together they had three children. They later divorced but remained good friends. Rae Ann was united in marriage to William Jordison in 1982, and spent the remainder of his days together; he passed away in 1995. Rae Ann’s biggest pleasure in life was her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She beamed every time they walked in the door. Rae Ann is survived by her children, Tammy (Harry) Armstrong, Tim Knudson, Tiffany (Randy Cahill) Sorenson, all of Badger; grandchildren, Bill (Shannon) Armstrong, Amanda Armstrong, Nick (Anna) Armstrong, Abee (Patrick Kelleher) Armstrong, McKenzie Knudson, Justin (Rachelle) Sorenson and Laura (Nathan) Johnson; great grandchildren, Gabby Armstrong, Finley Armstrong, Brex Armstrong, Owen Armstrong, Harris Sorenson and Parker Johnson; her siblings, Daryl (Wanda) Wisthoff, Linda (Mel) Benz, brother-in law Verly Gregerson; several nieces and nephews, her son-in-law Todd Sorenson; and sister-in-law Nancy (Bob) Ropte. Rae Ann was preceded in death by her parents, husband William Jordison, her sister Ruth Ann Gregerson, and nephew William “Butch” Paterson. She will be deeply missed by her family.
