Wilma A. Mauch passed away April 13, 2022. Wilma Arline Wilson was born November 10, 1929, at Castana, IA to John A. Wilson and Irma A. (Hall) Wilson. She attended school at Turin and Mapleton, IA, and married Ed E. Mauch Jr. at Onawa, IA in 1946. They farmed in the Castana area until 1955 and moved to Fort Dodge in 1960. She is survived by her daughters, B.J. Ackerson, Joyce Benson, Karen (Roger) Rees, Edda Peed, Barbara (Mark) Strait, Kelli Mauch and Shelli (Ed) Fox; her sons, Edward (Dawn) Mauch III and Brett (Caroline) Mauch; 24 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and in laws. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed, in 1999, parents, brothers, Robert Wilson and Ed Wilson; sisters, Laura Kleine and Jean Cender; sons in law, Bruce Ackerson, James Benson, and Richard Peed; and grandson: Stewart Benson A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
