Carole Pirie

July 18, 1942 - February 15, 2022

Carole Pirie, 79, of Fort Dodge, died February 15, 2022 at Trinity Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 21, 2022 at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services with interment in North Lawn Cemetery. Survivors include her children, Kevin (Maurie) Pirie of Fort Dodge, Kerry Pirie of Brooklyn, and Jody Pirie (Rick) of Lehigh; 10 grandchildren, Nathan, Dustin, Nicole, Collin, Kyla, Keaton, Jason, Jesseca, Kody and Konner; and 2 great grandchildren, Kevin and Londyn; her sisters Joyce (Jim) Shipley of MN and Joan Lara of Fort Dodge. She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Evelyn (Smith) Delle, great granddaughter Kadyn Pirie, her special friend Neil Carlson and her siblings Robert Netland (Milly), Richard Netland (Charlene), and Catherine “Kate” Keller; and brother-in-law Gomez Lara. Carole Kaye (Delle) Pirie was born July 18, 1942, in Fort Dodge. She graduated from FDSH. Carole was married to Don Pirie and later divorced. She was employed at Brooks Laundry, Wonder Bread Store and Sally’s Restaurant in Paton and the Gowrie Care Center. She devoted her life as being a caretaker, she loved family gatherings and dancing. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
