Rhonda Jebron, 76, of Fort Dodge died on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home surrounded by family. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Christ Lutheran Church in Fort Dodge. Visitation will take place from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Inurnment will be held privately at a later date. Rhonda Jebron was born on June 17, 1945 to Gerhard and Freda (Dornath) Habben in Fort Dodge, IA. Rhonda graduated from Humboldt High School. In 1965, she married Randy Klinker and to this union was born two children; Marcene and Mark. They later divorced. In 1980, Rhonda was united in marriage to Cornelius Jebron. They made their home in Humboldt and later moved to Fort Dodge. Rhonda and Corny were married many happy years, until Corny’s passing in October of 2015. Rhonda worked for Hawkeye Harvesters in Humboldt and then for Children and Family Services of Iowa until her retirement. Rhonda was an active member of Christ Lutheran Church in Fort Dodge. She was involved in church activities including, the church auction and quilting. Rhonda was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved to play cards and games with her family and friends. Rhonda is survived by her sister, Barbara (Wayne) Chinander; her brother-in-law, Frank Stamper; her step-children, Cindy Jones, Susan Berryhill, Marilou (Walt) Taylor, Cork (Kay) Jebron, and their families; her nephews and neice, Kirk (Vicki) Stamper, Krystal (Mark) Phillips, Todd (Joyce) McCubbin, and Nate McCubbin, and their families. She was preceded in death by her husband, Corny; her parents, Gerhard and Freda; her children, Mark and Marcene; her sister Sharon; her step-son-in-law, Judd; and her step-grandson, Jeremy. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the discretion of the family.
